Dr. Hamid Kamran MD, FACG

Dr. Hamid Kamran is board certified in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Texas Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society.

Dr. Kamran received his medical degree from the University of Punjab, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore in 1986. Dr. Kamran completed his Internal Medicine residency training at University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Medicine, Montgomery, Alabama. He went on to train as a fellow at Louisiana State University, School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana where he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology. He served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the division of Gastroenterology at Louisiana State University, School of Medicine, New Orleans, before starting his own private practice in 2002 in Texas. He currently practices in Arlington, Texas and his practice focuses on many gastroenterological areas, like colon cancer, ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gallbladder, liver and pancreatic diseases, as well as Advanced and therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP. His areas of interest include but are not limited to, Barrett’s Esophagus, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases – Ulcerative Colitis and crohn’s Disease, Endoscopic mass/polyp removal, Liver and Pancreatic Diseases.

Apart from his work, Dr. Kamran enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going to movies, Travelling, skiing and listening to music.
